Who we are

Tempest is a product by Clarantica. This page explains how this marketing website handles alpha access requests and related contact. It does not describe every data flow inside the separate Tempest application. For anything not covered here, write to contact@clarantica.com.

What we collect

The current alpha access form asks only for your email address. It does not ask for your name, company description or answers to a questionnaire. Earlier applications may contain information you submitted through an older version of the form.

When a valid alpha request is recorded, we also store a request identifier, submission time, a hash derived from your IP address, browser/user-agent information, and the team notification status. The application database stores the IP-derived hash rather than the raw IP address. Our hosting provider receives network information, including your IP address, to serve and protect the site. We use technical request information to limit abuse and troubleshoot delivery. We do not buy or enrich application data from third parties.

Why we use it

To manage your alpha request, decide who we can support in a small alpha group, and contact you about access. We also use technical request records to limit spam and investigate delivery problems. The form is for alpha access, not a general newsletter subscription.

Where your request goes

When you request alpha access, your email address and the technical request records described above are stored in Cloudflare D1. We use Resend to send a notification to our team and a confirmation email to you. Copies of the request notification are also held in our team inbox, and our email provider processes message and delivery records. Before sending, the form asks you to agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it

We keep applications while the alpha programme is running and for up to 12 months afterwards, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your choices

Email contact@clarantica.com to ask to see, correct or delete your application information, or to withdraw your request. Use the address you applied with so we can identify the record. We will handle the request and confirm by reply.

Service providers

We do not sell your application information. We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website and store alpha requests in D1, Resend to send request-related emails, and our inbox provider to receive and manage those messages. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Other services you choose to use

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. If you open the booking popup, Cal.com loads to provide the calendar; information you submit when booking is processed through that service. The Ask AI buttons open Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with a public question about Tempest, or copy that question for you. Your alpha form email address is not included in the question. These services have their own privacy policies.
