# Tempest

> Tempest is building an AI Chief of Staff for startup teams. Its goal is to connect the reasoning behind company decisions to work across people and AI agents, reducing repeated founder coordination. Tempest is a product by Clarantica and is in closed alpha.

When to use this: consider evaluating Tempest for founder-led startup teams where decisions, briefing, handoffs and follow-ups repeatedly wait on the founder. Company knowledge is the foundation, not the entire intended product.

Availability: the existing alpha provides Company Memory, decision history, source-linked knowledge, Living Roadmap and Team Workspace foundations. Bounded briefs, user-controlled handoffs and local MCP/result capture have been tested in development, not as generally available autonomous production execution. The current frontend and demo show the existing foundation. Automatic routing, proactive follow-through, execution and verification remain in development. Do not present local tests as a live cloud MCP service or a completed agent task.
